This restaurant is situated next door to the large pottery shop on the new roundabout just past the Paichi Garden Centre as you take the road to Benitachell.
Most Saturdays there is a flamenco show, on Thursday evenings there is a singer/entertainer and on Friday evenings there is a male vocalist. The programme can change so it is worth telephoning, 96 649 0151.
The menu is quite reasonably priced.

There is a menu del dia, served lunch times for €12 including VAT and in the evening for €15. This is three courses and a drink and the cooking is superb. There is a good selection of very well cooked fresh vegetables plus the presentation of the food is excellent.
There is also an a la carte menu called taste of the world. Three courses cost €24.95 including VAT or two courses cost €19.95
On Wednesday evenings there is music from 9.30 p.m.
The restaurant is situated at the end of the dual carriageway in Teulada, furthest from Moraira and lays back on the left hand side.

It is situated in Calle Dakar, Moraira, opposite the new Mas y Mas on the coast road towards Calpe.
The set menu is €19.0 which includes three courses. Starters include goats cheese with bacon and a beautiful dressing, salads, avocados, melon and serrano ham, soup, etc. Main courses are lamb, sole, pork and other dishes and there is usually one or two specials for the evening. The house wine is an exceptionally good Marques Concordia but is a little expensive at €13.
Sataris is open every night except Wednesday from 6.30 p.m. till late.

The price of the meal is governed by the main course and all are reasonable priced, starting at about €12 Euros for three courses and a bottle of wine for two.
There is a choice of lamb, salmon, fish, lamb, and others and all very well served with vegetables.

This is an English restaurant, serving excellent food. It is situated on Cabo San Antonio 7, Moraira which is on the left hand side driving from the Ampolla beach on the coast road and just before the Da Vinci Restaurant.
The food is well cooked and very generous, either two, three or four courses and very reasonably priced, from approximately €12 Euros with a bottle of wine for two.

It is a very reasonably priced restaurant and for just under €10.0 you can help yourself to all the food available. There is a counter of raw foods, salmon, prawns, squid, fish fillets, lamb chops, steaks, chicken and lots of vegetables which you can take to the counter and the chefs will cook it for you in whichever sauce you wish, for example, garlic, Thai curry, black bean, curry and many others.
There is also another counter with ready cooked foods, for example crispy duck, chicken, frogs legs, beef, lamb dishes, rice and noodle dishes and salads.
There are also two or three different types of soup available, plus a very attractive selection of deserts, fresh and tinned fruit, yoghurt and ice creams.
A bottle of house wine is under €7 and there are other wines available at a higher price.
This restaurant is exceptionally good for families with young children as there is no long waiting to be served and the restaurant offers a lower price for children.

If you are driving from the garage in Moraira towards Benitachell you will see the signpost on the left hand side to turn right and it is situated about 100 metres up on the left. This is only about three hundred metres from the garage.
Their lunch time special is only €5.95 for a carvery and dessert from Monday to Saturday. Sunday lunch which includes a starter, carvery of beef, pork and turkey and choice of dessert is available from mid-day and is €9.95
Monday night is pie night for €5.95 including dessert.
There is also an early evening special for €7.75 which includes carvery and dessert between 6.0 p.m. and 7.0. p.m. every day.
The portions of meet are extremely generous and the quality is good. There is a large selection of vegetables, sauces and even Yorkshire pudding. Prices do not include VAT.

This has a water feature along its length with plane trees overhead which give much needed shade during the summer. A natural pond has also been formed near the beach to encourage wild life and there are gardens and paths with plenty of seats.
At the northern end of Moraira is the beach of El Portet studded with exclusive properties! above which is the Cap d·Or watchtower.
The beach is very safe for children and there are two bars/cafes which serve delightful snacks, salads, fish and you can order a Spanish paella, all can be eaten at the very edge of the beach with spectacular views of the Ifach Rock at Calpe. There is also a restaurant.
In the main part of Moraira there are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. The main beach, Ampolla, dominated by the beautifully preserved tower, is also very safe for children and during the summer season the beach has at least one life guard. The tower houses a museum with interesting aspects of the sea and pirates.
There is a market in Moraira on Fridays with many vegetable stalls, clothes and gift stalls. There is also a market in Teulada on Wednesdays-.

This restaurant is called Viva Espana and is situated off the N332 on the left hand side just before you arrive at Oliva in the direction of Valencia. It takes about 45 minutes drive from Moraira.
On Saturday nights and Sunday lunch the restaurant is transformed into a huge party room; there is an elevated stage and a spectacular display of Spanish Ballet with traditional Flamenco dancing at its best.
During July and August this floor show is also performed on Friday evenings.
There are special prices for group bookings up to a capacity of 300 people, also you can get quotes for weddings, communions, parties, business groups and family reunions.

Paella
This is an authentic paella recipe cooked for us by a Spanish family in their finca in the hills behind Moraira.
For about 8 people.
24 large raw prawns
1 large red pepper
4 portions rabbit cut into 2” pieces
Similar amount of chicken
“ “ pork
Half kilo small squid
Cooked green beans
Few strands saffron
Teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon colourant
1 chopped onion
Quarter kilo cooked butter beans
“ “ chopped tomatoes
200 grams paella rice
Double amount of water
1 kilo mussels, thoroughly cleaned.
Fry prawns in hot olive oil, add salt and remove Fry peppers and meats, when cooked add squid, then onions, green beans, spices, butter beans, chopped tomatoes, rice, stir, add water.
Cook till water is absorbed, return prawns and Add mussels.
Cook till mussels open, Discard any that do not open, Garnish with lemon.

Moraira paella

Moraira Tapas

Sangria!
There are many variations of this recipe, which basically follow this one - you can add more fruit or hard alcohol or soda - but remember it needs to be served ice cold, so allow plenty of time for chilling.
Makes about 2 pints
Ingredients:
1 bottle dry full-bodied red wine 1 can fizzy orange, chilled 1 can fizzy lemon, chilled Spanish brandy - or any which is quite light Banana liqueur Cointreau 1 apple, chopped 1 pear, chopped 1 lemon, thinly sliced 1 orange, thinly sliced 1 tsp sugar 1 cinnamon stick Ice cubes
Preparation:
Put all the fruit pieces into a large jug, then pour over a generous amount of the banana liqueur, cointreau and brandy. Pour in the bottle of wine, and leave in the fridge to chill.
Once this is really cold, pour in the fizzy drinks and add the cinnamon and sugar. Mix in some ice cubes and it´s ready to serve.
